Experience
Liza Cozad has over 17 years of experience negotiating complex transactions and handling intellectual property matters. Having represented both sides of the business transaction, Liza has an understanding of the entire transaction and what points are key in a negotiation. Ms. Cozad places a high premium on providing preemptive legal support in a cost efficient manner, and having worked both as in-house counsel as well as in a law firm setting, she is experienced, competent, and understands the role of the lawyer in business transactions.
Liza was nominated for Dealmaker of the Year in 2006 by the Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel for her negotiating and legal counsel on the award winning documentary Into the Fire.
Liza has accepted speaking engagements on many occasions in the past 15 years to educate, inform and dialogue on matters ranging from entertainment law to contracts to intellectual property.

Also possesses in-house experience with Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, Rhino Records, and several years of experience with the entertainment law firm of Johnson & Moses, and the law firm Phillips and Lerner.
